  • Desktop sharing enables you to see the texts and media under discussion. You can easily set video sharing on your end on or off to decide whether or not others see you.

  • Scheduling conflict? No problem! Sessions are recorded and permanently archived in audio and video formats. Registrants can download them at their convenience.
  • For approximately two weeks after each session, its recording is accessible directly from our home page. You can download it even before registering. See what you’re missing!
  • Free, streamlined registration easily enables you to download all the older recordings. You can join a series midway and catch up on whatever you missed.
  • Text and media are permanently associated with the recordings of the sessions that discuss them. You can study them and review them again at your own pace.

Participating in the Live, Interactive Video Sessions

Shalom and welcome to Yeshivath Sharashim! For full access to R. Chaim Eisen’s live, interactive video sessions and participation in all the programs and services of Yeshivath Sharashim, you’ll need to take a minute to register. Free, streamlined registration at Yeshivath Sharashim is easy. Here are the steps:

  1. Fill out the free registration form as completely as possible. This information enables Yeshivath Sharashim to serve you better by tailoring programs to you.

  2. After Yeshivath Sharashim processes your application, usually within a day, you will receive email confirmation of your username (your email address) and password.

  3. Please note that, depending on its settings, your email spam filter may flag the email confirmation as spam, so you may need to check your spam box for the message.

  4. Read the email confirmation you receive, and click on the web link shortcuts it contains to convey yourself directly to the courses for which you are registered.

  5. Use the username (your email address) and password in the email confirmation to log in (on the course log in pages) to the courses for which you are registered.

  6. If you have any difficulty logging in with this username and password, please contact us as soon as possible for help. (Don’t try to register a second time.)

  7. While you are logged in to a course, you can participate fully in all upcoming sessions. (You can also download any previous, archived sessions you may have missed.)

  8. To participate in a live, interactive video session, log in to the course featuring it at least 10 minutes before the session is to begin, going to the course’s main screen.

  9. In the right-hand column of the course’s main screen, under the heading “Current Class,” where the title and time of the session appear, click “Attend a session.”

  10. This conveys you directly to the virtual video conference room, where you can see and hear the session and participate in it as fully as you wish.

Yeshivath Sharashim operates as an independent program incorporated within Hineni Jerusalem.
It is Hineni’s platform for Web-based Torah education.
